Wow, when it rains it pours!
My youngest sister Jen had her baby today! No pics yet, but here are the stats:
Daniel Jackson Kunz
Born at 8:13pm
7 Pounds, 11 ounces
9 on his apgar
They were only at 36 weeks 4 days gestation, so a good size for being early.
So jen headed into the hospital around 6am or so, and spent most of the day trying to get things to really pick up (she was dilated to an 8 nearly the whole time). They popped her water and things stalled and they had to work pretty hard to get it going again. She finally had active labor for about 5 hours followed by 2+ hours of pushing (no epidural for her either.) She is pretty worn out, and pretty sore (3rd degree for those who want to wince for her) but happy to have her boy here.
On a super positive note, her husband did great. There was some real worry there about his being able to handle labor. He is the type of guy that goes green and passes out when you say the word blood, let alone something as messy as labor. He managed with just a slight dizzy spell at the very end. So Woot for Kenny!

Well, congratulations! Tyler will have lots of fun cousins his age to play with. Of course, he's the oldest, so he'll be the boss at all the reunions! :-)
Good thing being an aunt doesn't mean sleep loss for us!
Congratulations! I also had to tell you bc it's so funny that your new niece and nephew have as middle names the names we have chcsen for a boy and girl: Jackson or Scarlett. Great minds think alike!
how fun to have all the cousins born so close together! that will be fun when they are older!
