We drove out to the Oregon Coast (about an hour away.) We hit the tillamook cheese factory first. We LOVE going to the cheese factory. Well, at least Kyle and I do. The only reason the kids like it is because it means ice cream lol. I managed to hold back and only eat a few bites of cheese for the sake of the baby.
So we saw where the cheese is made, bought some yummy exra sharp cheddar and some cheese curds, and got the kids ice cream. I was smart and took Dylans shirt off, which is good since he ended up COVERED in chocolate. The next stop was the Nike factory outlet in Seaside. (We get a discount there too- woohoo!) I ended up running into my best friend from high school while we were there, so we chatted a bit and ended up at her parents beach house so I could feed Tyler and we could visit for a while and see each others kids.
We made a quick run to the beach. It was windy, and Im feeling a little paranoid around the ocean right now, so we didnt stay long. But the kids got to do some wave chasing and Kate found a mess of sand dollars before Dylan managed to rub sand into his eyes and we decided to head in.
(Im not really that weird shaped, I had Tyler in the baby bjorn)We hit the main street in Seaside, sadly the bumper cars and train were shut down already, but we played at the arcade for a while. We even broke down and actually spent $5 in quarters instead of making our kids just pretend they were playing.
By that time the kids were pretty much done, but we saw the merry go round on the way out and decided "why not."
its was a jam packed day, and the kids were exausted by the end. We didnt get home until 10pm. But I really do find something satisfying about carrying worn out babies in from the car after a day like this.

So much fun to have a wonderful family day. Even more so when it is at the beach. Wish we lived closer to one.
It was good to see you! Discount at Nike, eh? Should have ran into you a couple minutes earlier! :o)
Your kids are so adorable!
So fun! I'm itching to go to the beach this summer.
