Easter FHE

Since Easter is coming I thought it would be good to talk about it during Family Home Evening. We focused on the true reason for Easter. We watched the lamb of God video and then talked about it a little (Kate was VERY upset) and then we moved on to a little project. I found this on another blog so I cant take credit, I just had to share because the kids loved it.

We used a heavy duty paper plate (ours were chinete) and cut them in half, then glued/stapled them together to make the tomb. Then cut out a door size hole and squashed up some paper lunch bags to make the bolder. I had printed out some little Jesus pictures and the kids cut them out and glued them inside. I added a Mary and Angel picture to the front of mine.

Kate’s are the end two, and Tyler did the right hand side one.  Kate also made two more, but we ran out of room on the mantle. lol
