We have a few smallish updates, but nothing huge
Andrew had his second soccer game he scored again. He wasnt as focused this time though, we had to remind him to watch the ball (and *gasp* actually run towards it.) Im trying hard to not become "that parent." you know the one that screams bloody murder at their kid and makes them feel stupid for not playing well. I played soccer for 12+ years, so Its been an adjustment for me to enjoy the chaos that is beehive soccer.
Kate had her St Judes Trike a thon at school friday. Each year the school runs a trike a thon and the kids earn money for St Judes hospital. Kate was quite worried about the "kids with no hair." She managed to get in 31 laps of the parking lot and earned $30 through her efforts. If anyone is interested in late sponsorship, call me and we can add you to the list. I love that her school focuses so much about helping out the world around them and thinking of others.
Kyle is still crazy busy at work. He designed a new uniform for University of Oklahoma all by himself. He normally doesnt get to do design stuff, so this was a great opportunity for him. He even got to do the prototype work for it. He has really enjoyed being able to do this project from start to finish. So great opportunity for him, the sucks for us because he still has to do his normal duties on top of designing cool new uniforms- So we dont get to play with him as much.
Nothing is really new with Dylan, he is just the same little rascal he has always been. He drew on the carpet this week with a marker, then on the walls with some chalk, then managed to cover a few outfits completely with mud. He has been putting his artisticness (yes, I made up that word) to good use though and drawing lots of car pictures for me. He has had a few dry nights with no pull up, but by no means enough to call him night trained. He has been daytime trained for almost a year now. So I really need to get this the rest of the way finished up.
Tyler is fun. So fat. So squishy. So much fun. I LOVE this kid. He is just so happy and mellow. He is a laughing fool and OH so very ticklish. He is still waking up once at 4:00 75% of the time. But I really cant complain. When we lay him on the carpet now he does what I call the "carpet swim." You can tell he wants to move, but has no idea how to do it. So he just moves his arms and legs around like he is swimming or something. This is a bit of a hard stage for him. He is starting to get bored, but isnt coordinated enough to really do anything. He bats at the toys in his bouncer chair, but is sick of laying down all the time and ends up just struggling to sit up to no avail. He still stays pleasant, but I cant tell he is frustrated.
That leaves me. I have a HORRID case of momnesia. I honestly wonder how I dont forget to breath some days. I mean- I have always had memory issues, but this is down right embarrassing! I have also started the great shed. For those that dont know, the hair on your body goes into a resting stage while pregnant. Which means that you dont shed hair nearly as much. But once you have that baby and your hormones regulate- all that hair that hasnt fallen out in the last nine months does. There is hair EVERYWHERE! Because of that and my little friend Tyler, who loves to grab it and suck on it, Im considering getting my haircut. The lady that used to do it moved too far away for me to make it practical to go to her any more. So the fact that I need to find a new hairdresser that doesnt charge and arm and a leg has kept me from cutting off another 14 inches of hair. (Anyone Locals have any good hairdressers for me?)
My new niece and nephew are adorable. I SO wish they lived closer, but at least we have free long distance phone privileges.

Kierstyn is doing the same thing, getting so frustrated that she can't just get up and go. She is so close though. They are growing soo fast!
