T’was a time for joy and t’was a time for cheer….
Our first Christmas at our house has come and gone. It was a good one. The kids got their coveted pillow pets (thanks grandma!) and another years pass to the Zoo (thanks other grandma!) I got my silhouette, and Daddy got a new pad for his chair (much cooler than it sounds)
The flu being at our house the first half of the month kept the Christmas cheer level a little lower than was hoped, but in the end everybody had a great holiday.
It was a homebody Christmas. Grandma, Grandpa, great uncle Roger, and aunt Erin all came to our house to celebrate. As fun as it is to go visit family, there is something to be said about sleeping in your own bed with kids able to keep their normal bedtimes. The only negative this holiday was that the kids BFFs are out of town, so they have had a most boring school break, and I found out Im allergic to the most yummy peach mango salsa. (Im seriously weeping over here)
