| Someone was too tired for Nursery |
By then we were all pretty worn out.
Sunday was mellow mellow. Church in the morning and the afternoon was filled with goodbyes and packing.
Monday was the long drive home. We did the drive in one day opposed to the two days we took to get out there. We normally do it in 1, but I will admit that it sucks. We managed to be out of Springville by 7 and we were making really good time until we got to the western side of Idaho. I was tired, the kids were tired, dad was tired and EVERYONE was cranky. The boys in the back of the van were doing everything they could to push each others buttons. Bedlemites is a great definition. I finally had to shut myself down and go all introverted into my own little happy place because if I paid any more attention to what the kids were doing I was going to go all praying mantis on them. There were threats issued and threats that were blatantly ignored.
Needless to say that we stopped making great time and we ended up wandering around Walmart for an hour and a half until we liked each other again enough to get in the car without duct tape being used. We made it home just in time for bedtime for the kids. (You know, since they didn't sleep a single minute during the 14 hours we were on the road Grrrrrr)
