Dylan is in first grade. He was the most excited out of the kids for school to start. Giddy, giddy excited. I was more excited than he was that he was going into first grade. I have had a kid in half day school for 3 of the last 4 years. So I was stoked to not have my day broken into little two hour segments anymore.
Kate is in third grade and ever so grown up (and ever so tan! you can tell she spent her summer in the pool). She was worried about the extra work load with being in TAG this year and wasn't too excited for summer to end. After the first day she was over that because she has an AMAZING teacher for the year. Its his first year at our school so he was an unknown, but even in the week school has been going Ive already been impressed.
Andrew is in fourth grade. FOURTH GRADE!!! I remember fourth grade; as in all of it. Third grade I remember bits and pieces, but fourth is a solid memory. So its crazy weird to think that I have a kid in fourth grade. Andrew has gotten so big. He wears size five shoes (which is a larger shoe than some of MY friends) and he is officially tall enough to fit in a grown up seat belt in the car (4'9") Im amazed at what a quiet and introspective kid he is becoming. He has more of Kyle's personality than mine.
Tyler got to have first day of school pictures too. It will be interesting to see how this year works out. He no longer naps, and no longer has a friend at home to play with him. This is also my own first time as a parent to only have one kid. This means I actually have to play with him! ;) Im excited for the adventures we are going to get up to.

Becky, when I saw these photos on Facebook(?) I thought of this idea I had just noticed on a blog of one of my high school classmates . . . you may want to check it out. http://pricelessimpressions.blogspot.com/2011/08/back-to-schoolagain.html
I think the pictures you posted whereever else it was I saw them had a bigger background . . . scroll down; it's the one with all the writing.
If you ever want someone to play with Tyler, Leo would love to! I'm jealous of your one kid at home. I should probably stop having kids if I want that any time soon. :D
Very cute pictures of all your kids! First day of school pictures are the best!
Great pics becky - Ty sure looks grown up!
Kate is so tan! I love her outfit. Everyone's looking super cute. You should do a pic of you and kyle each year too for first day of school :)
