Kate’s Baptism

Im a bit behind, but that seems to be the theme lately. Kate got baptized at the end of last month. Both my parents and Kyle’s parents along with Aunt Erin, Aunt Kara, and My sister and her family were all in attendance. Luckily there were only two other kids getting baptized, so the program was able to be a little more personalized. (can I mention how much I dislike how my stake handles baptisms for kids?) Her Dad baptized her and both grandpas stood as witnesses. We all ended up back at our house (all 16 of us) for a dinner. I LOVE that my house allows us to feed that many people and have everyone at tables and not cramped! We finished celebrating her birthday with presents and cake. The day was really ALLLLLL about Kate. (and she ate it up with a spoon)Im pretty sure Kate got her fill of attention for the day. lol   She did really well at her baptism interview and Impressed me with her knowledge of the gospel. She is such a smart little cookie.
The Grandparents got together and bought her a Green Mini Quad Scripture set and Grandma Bake sewed her a scripture case. Kyle and I chipped in and got her a Pink CTR ring (that she hasnt managed to lose yet!)  Aunt Erin got her a sweet little necklace, and Aunt Lori bought her the fabulous dress she wore.

She was ever so sweet that day. Those first pics of her are cute, you can tell she's way excited and proud. Three cheers for the kate! I'm glad we were able to make it down.
